'ARTFELT DESIGNSTM began
as a design studio for one-of-a-kind jewelry & home decor
items. One of our earliest creations was a photo frame, which
won Honorable Mention in a national design contest (one of 50
winners out of 5,500 entries) and was subsequently published in
a hardcover book by Oxmoor House in 1996.
However, we've had to put other projects
on the "back burner" because of the overwhelming response
to HEAVENLY HEATTM Paks,
our organic microwave/freezer comfort packs. This came about as

We took this traditional method, wrapped

In September 1997, QVC featured
Heavenly Heat Products' Hot Massage Mitt on a 3-hour live
broadcast from New Hampshire. In just a few minutes on the air,
it sold out, later getting a second order from QVC.
Paks were also in a Japanese catalog called "Outdoor
Life" and we filled several large orders for them. When we
saw the 'tear sheets' with all the info in Japanese, we just had
to go to the local prep school & get Asian students to translate
it for us!
In 1997 we introduced Toasty Teddy
Paks - a cuddly teddy-bear style, microwave/freezer comfort
pack. These are meant for any age but were especially designed
with abuse and trauma survivors in mind. The poem that comes with
each Toasty Teddy Pak reflects our desire to be of comfort these
